Sarah-Maude Belleville-Chénard joined Dionne Schulze in June 2017 as a lawyer. She acts primarily in environmental and territorial governance matters, as well as in civil and administrative litigation, particularly in matters of historical abuse. In this context, she places great emphasis on continuously improving the quality of services provided to our clients.

Extended Bio

Before joining the firm, Sarah-Maude oversaw the UNESCO World Heritage application for Anticosti Island. She completed her Quebec Bar articling in Haiti with Lawyers Without Borders Canada, where she worked on a case before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.

Sarah-Maude has completed a Master’s degree in law on intersectionality and discriminatory colonial laws against Indigenous women in Canada.
