Julie Gay joined the Dionne Schulze team in 2023 as a paralegal. She assists the firm’s lawyers with litigation matters before the Superior Court of Québec, the Court of Appeal of Québec, the Supreme Court of Canada and the Federal Court. She has strong knowledge of the procedural rules specific to these courts and is proactive in staying up to date with developments in legal processes and requirements.

Julie drafts pleadings, conducts legal research, prepares extra‑provincial registrations, and carries out legal monitoring for the firm. She also works extensively on class action matters and supports lawyers in certain commercial files and charity applications.

She is involved in several internal committees, particularly those focused on artificial intelligence and the protection of personal information, areas in which she has a strong professional interest.

Before coming to Canada, Julie worked as a jurist in a business law firm in France. She collaborated with clients in southwest France, Réunion Island and Mayotte, drafting documents related to corporate reorganizations and business contracts and assisting the founding lawyer on a variety of files.

Julie holds a dual Master’s degree in Business Law and Business Administration from France.
