Marsela Ianni joined the Dionne Schulze team in 2024 as Claims Counsel for the Indian Boarding Homes Class Action settlement. In this role, she regularly travels to Indigenous communities to present the claim and support members in the claimant process. Marsela is also involved in other civil litigation and class actions.

Marsela holds an Licentiate in Law from the University of Ottawa, where she continued on in her studies to obtain her Juris Doctor. During her studies, Marsela took a keen interest in issues at the intersection of human rights, Indigenous and environmental law, working and learning alongside notable figures in the fields.

Prior to her arrival at Dionne Schulze, Marsela specialized in civil and family litigation, practicing at a boutique law firm in Montreal’s Old Port. This experience brought her to appear before various courts, both judicial and administrative, including the Quebec Court of Appeal.
