Rose Victoria Adams joined Dionne Schulze as a lawyer in 2022. She is notably involved in the litigation of class actions for historical institutional abuse and systemic discrimination, and also represents individuals in the claims processes from such class actions. Rose also counsels clients in matters of land management under the Indian Act and modern land claim agreements, governance, research ethics, consultation issues and specific claims.

As an Inuk from Kuujjuaq, Nunavik, Rose is particularly interested in issues of land management and governance under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement.

Rose holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from McGill University’s Faculty of Law. During her studies, she clerked with the Honourable Paul Mayer at the Specific Claims Tribunal. She articled at a major international law firm before becoming a member of the Quebec Bar.
